Argentine Airlines Aerolíneas Argentinas will transport 180,000 passengers during the long weekend for National Sovereignty Day, a figure that represents a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

“These numbers demonstrate that the company is showing particularly strong performance in the domestic market, with high occupancy rates in the main tourist destinations,” Aerolíneas Argentinas stated in a press release.
They detailed that the 15 most flown routes are: Buenos Aires–Bariloche, Buenos Aires–Ushuaia, Buenos Aires–El Calafate, Buenos Aires–Iguazú, Buenos Aires–Mendoza, Buenos Aires–Córdoba, Buenos Aires–Salta, Buenos Aires–Neuquén, Buenos Aires–Comodoro Rivadavia, Buenos Aires–Tucumán, Buenos Aires–Trelew, El Calafate–Ushuaia, Buenos Aires–Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires–Bahía Blanca, and Buenos Aires–Jujuy, which account for nearly 60% of the total passengers transported during this long weekend.
“Aerolíneas Argentinas continues to consolidate its role as the country's main airline operator, promoting tourism and strengthening connectivity between the different regions of Argentina. After the last long weekend of the year, the company is betting on a successful summer season with an expanded offering to the main national and international tourist destinations,” the release stated.
